Joshua Bowen
Educational choose-your-own-adventure stories. You are the kid on the page. Every choice is a real idea in disguise—not a lecture, a mission.
Little Readers · Ages 1–5
Grown-ups read the line. Kids tap the picture. Short paths, small choices, come back tomorrow.
Soon · Ages 6–10
Longer adventures, still picture-led. First titles after the baby zoo books.
Decide & Discover · Ages 8–12
Twelve books. Twelve kinds of dark: vacuum, peat fog, deep woods, a cracked millstone, a tidal bar, a map that lies, nine hundred meters of ocean, dust on greenhouse glass, a light that answers, a mine that whispers, an empty crossing, a wounded bridge. In each one, guessing is louder than thinking—and thinking wins more often.
Facts live in tools, not textbooks. You need the idea to pick the less-wrong path: oxygen versus vacuum, lights that lie over peat, a “unicorn” that might be a neighbor, a millstone that cannot wait for market day, a kelpie that is a current, a blank that is still a fen, a ping that is a ruler, photons that plants eat, a foghorn that is wind, knockers that are rock, a 3-4-5 that squares a bay, a cutwater that takes the punch.
Start at section 1. When the page offers a line, take it. There is more than one ending. Replay is the point.
